Member of the Tea Gardens Lions Club, Country Club, Golf Club, Myall Masters Swimming, & the HNTG Surf Lifesaving Club: BA (Syd), MSSc (CSU).

Retired former special education teacher. Member of the Art Walk Group & U3A Art Group. Long serving local volunteer, community advocate & leader. Designed & painted murals in Hawks Nest with assistance. Assisted with Hawks Nest Park beautification.
